OpenAI has extended the "custom instructions" feature of ChatGPT, their AI chatbot, to all users, including those on the free tier.

This feature was introduced as a beta for ChatGPT Plus subscribers in July, enabling users to set preferences and requirements for how the chatbot responds.

It allows for the customization of factors like response length and tone.

This move aims to save users time and enhance the user experience by eliminating the need to repeat instructions.

The feature is available on iOS and Android and will soon expand to the EU and U.K.

WhatsApp is testing a new voice chat feature in its beta version, allowing groups of up to 32 people to connect for voice sessions.

This feature, similar to offerings from Telegram and Discord, can be initiated by tapping a waveform icon within the group chat.

Unlike group calls, this feature doesn't ring everyone's phone. The voice chats are end-to-end encrypted and will automatically end after an hour.

With over 2 billion users, WhatsApp is among the most widely used chat apps globally.

Google Search now includes an AI-powered grammar checker that can suggest corrections for sentences and phrases.

Users can trigger the feature by entering phrases like "grammar check" or "check grammar," but the tool might offer suggestions even without these phrases.

The AI identifies errors, offers corrections, and highlights differences.

While the tool is powered by AI, it might not always be accurate for fragments or partial sentences.

It's available only in English and won't check for certain types of content like explicit, violent, or terrorist-related language.

AI is revolutionizing Hollywood by enhancing user experiences and content recommendations, as seen through Netflix's Chief AI Officer and the AI Movie Festival.

However, this shift triggers concerns about job displacement and artistic creativity.

Generative AI is streamlining tasks, and AI-powered tools are reshaping storytelling and character development.

While AI brings cost reduction and creative possibilities, it also raises ethical and creative concerns.

By responsibly embracing AI, Hollywood can improve the cinematic experience while addressing challenges.

AMD announces limited-edition, Starfield-themed GPU

AMD is releasing a limited-edition Starfield-themed version of its RX 7900 XTX graphics card and Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPUs.

The company will produce only 500 of these exclusive GPUs and CPUs, which can be won through special promotions and giveaways related to its partnership with Bethesda.

The Starfield RX 7900 XTX graphics card offers competitive performance and aligns with the game's system requirements.

AMD's collaboration with Bethesda has sparked controversy due to its exclusivity with AMD technology.

Starfield is set to launch on September 6, with early access for deluxe edition buyers.
